Ohuruogu puts glory before gain
12/01/2009 8:36pm
Christine Ohuruogu will put the defence of her world title before the pursuit of a one million-dollar jackpot this summer. The prize, which equates to £673,632, is the bonus on offer to an athlete winning their event in all six of the Golden League meetings this summer, starting in Berlin in June and ending in Brussels in September. "At the end of the day I train to win championships," said the 24-year-old. "It's not that I don't care about other races, but that's what my focus is."
