Report: Tanguay out six weeks with shoulder injury

01/01/2009 11:12pm

The red-hot Montreal Canadiens apparently will be without left wing Alex Tanguay for the foreseeable future.

Tanguay has a major shoulder injury and will be sidelined at least six weeks, according to a report posted Thursday by TSN of Canada.

The report did not disclose the exact nature of the injury, stating that Tanguay is suffering from either a separation, dislocation or strain.
