Haydock winner in great shape

Haydock winner in great shape 21/12/2008 1:00pm

Malko De Beaumont is likely to have at least one more race before the Eider Chase at Newcastle in February.

Trainer Alan Brown reports the eight-year-old to be A1 following his victory in the Tommy Whittle Chase at Haydock on Saturday.

"You wouldn't have thought he'd been in a race. He ate up last night and was as bright as a button this morning, I couldn't be more pleased with him," said the Malton handler.
